Stage of Bud:   Approaching Half-Inch Green at UVM HRC   

Apple Scab Ascospore Maturity:  

The warm weather has accelerated ascospore maturity.  Based on predicted temperatures over the next few days, by Friday, April 19^th,  ascospore maturity should be at least 12% mature in most areas.   Note that ascospore maturity will be higher than that in the southern part of the state.  Any rain poses a serious threat for infection.
