In the past,  some apple growers have found themselves one credit short of recertification credit at the end of the year and are looking for an educational opportunity to obtain pesticide applicator training credit  ---- here is that opportunity.     

In collaboration with Wendy Anderson of the Vermont Department of Agriculture, Food and Markets,    we have pulled together a quiz which you can take and, if you pass,  you will receive one private applicator recertification credit in the tree fruit commodity group.      The quiz is enclosed with this newsletter. 

The quiz is considered an "open book" test  -- in other words,  the answers to the questions can be found in the 2000-2001 New England Apple Pest Management Guide.  To pass the quiz, you must answer 10 of the 12 questions correctly.

The completed quiz must be in the hands of Wendy Anderson no later than December 1, 2000 in order to be considered for credit.   Any forms received after that date will not be considered.    Her address is:  Vermont Department of Agriculture, Food and Markets,  116 State Street,  Drawer 20, Montpelier, VT 05620.
