Arthropod Management Update

Degree Day Accumulation and Arthropod "Events"

For those who do not have access to our website (http://orchard.uvm.edu/), the following is an update of accumulated DD (Base 50F) that can be used in conjunction with the table on arthropod 'events'  to get an idea of what  to expect in terms of arthropod development.

Based on the estimated Degree Days,  Spotted Tentiform Adult moths should be flying in all but the coldest parts of Vermont.    Also, Tarnished Plant Bugs should be active.
