Revision of Vermont Apple Newsletter mailing list
Due to changes in the 911 emergency system, we have noted that there has been many address changes. In addition, our list is relatively old and contains the names of several persons who are no longer in the apple business and may no longer be interested in receiving our newsletter. To be more efficient and save money, we have decided to revise our mailing list. Please fill out the information in the loose, pink sheet which has our return address on the other side. Fold the page so that our return address is showing, tape the bottom edge and mail it to us.
We know that this will inconvenience some of you, but this is the only way we will be able to tell whether you are interested in receiving the newsletter or not. If you forget to do this and the you do not receive the newsletter in August, send us a postcard with your address and we will put you back on the mailing list.
In addition to the address information requested, in the same pink sheet, we are asking you for ideas on how we can help you improve fruit quality. We have been asked by the Apple Marketing Board to develop a proposal to enhance our extension program on aspects of fruit quality. We are asking for your input on the most effective ways to address the different issues concerning fruit quality in the state. The following is a list of ideas we have, if you have any suggestions, please let us know.
